British Pie Week at The Bear's Paw

The pie has long been a popular staple of traditional British cuisine, in fact so much so that our nation has dedicated a whole week to the pastry encased delights. Show your patriotism at The Bear's Paw as we celebrate British Pie Week from 7th - 11th March with a winning selection of special pies on our menu, carefully crafted by our chef's to mark the occasion.  

Our delicious choices include, Pork, apple and pancetta with creamy mash and roasted root vegetables; Cheese, onion and potato in hot water pastry with tomato, rocket and red onion salad; Cottage pie topped with mash and cheddar cheese and served with pickled cabbage, along with our regular favourite Steak and Weetwood ale with handcut chips and garden peas. 

We will also be celebrating British Pie Week at our other Inns - why not take a look at their offerings?!
