The Pick of the Paw this month is our Casserole and Pint Offer.
Enjoy Venison Sausage, Root Vegetable and Guinness Casserole, gratin dauphinoise and pickled red cabbage, and a pint of draught ale for just £13.95 throughout November.
When choosing that pint of draught, why not try one of the ales from our Brewery of the Month – Big Shed?
Big Shed Brewery based in Shrewsbury is a family-run business brewing the best cask-conditioned beer possible, using only the finest quality raw materials, ensuring shed-loads of flavour.
From their new 20 barrel brewery, they avoid the brewer’s ‘darker arts’ such as adding caramel, brewer’s sugars or other additives. Instead, their ales use plain, top quality traditional malts and hops.
This November we will feature three of their beers:
Coppermine (aka Sentinel Amber Ale) – a copper-coloured, well rounded best bitter with distinctive malty flavour and a hint of chocolate and earthy/minty flavour of Fuggle hops.
Battlefield Gold – a fruity golden beer with a aromas and flavours of citrusy grapefruit and lemon from the New World hops combined with a traditional earthy, honey and spicy flavour from the Old World Hops.
Rocky Mountain APA – brewed with Maris Otter pale malt, this beer has fruity, citrus, floral and grapefruit aromas and flavour courtesy of the Cascade hops.
