Opening Times

Our favourite hotel for a romantic night away. Bears Paw was spot on as usual. Boutique rooms, roaring log fire in the bar, Cheshire Cat and Bears Paw ales on tap, more varieties of gin than the wife could manage. Fantastic meals, great service. Thanks to Lewis and Fern for looking after us.

A trip to Cheshire isn’t complete without a visit to The Bears Paw for a meal. I’ve enjoyed lunch meals for 2 in the bar area and evening meals for a party of 10 in the dining room. The menu is super, food always yummy and nicely presented. A nice place to join family and friends for an evening meal. The service is efficient and friendly.

Very modern rooms with all you could want very clean, the staff were very friendly and the service in the restaurant although very busy could not have been better, there are easy walks from the hotel (the hotel is very dog friendly) back to the food the fish we had was so tasty worth going back just for that.

Planning a get together with my sister, she asked if we could go to that restaurant that I always sing its’ praises but she had never been. I had not been for a long time so agreed. Our visit did not disappoint. Easy to check availability and book on-line. Visited at lunchtime, plenty of choice on the menu. We both loved our mains and had room left for one of the glorious puddings. Always plenty of room between tables so you do not feel that you are part of someone else’s party. Customer service excellent, as always.

Have been here a number of times and really love it. The service is excellent and the food fabulous and they have quite an extensive menu. It is a characterful place and the ambiance is exceptional. Would highly recommend a visit here. I’d love to stay sometime too – the rooms look wonderful and I believe they do weddings and the like.
